The Eyer 2 offers flexible, high-quality anterior segment imaging when the dedicated module is connected. It provides three illumination modes: White Light for tracking disease evolution, Blue Light for high-contrast documentation of corneal lesions, and Infra-Red (IR) for analyzing deeper areas and diagnosing Dry Eye Disease.
Even without the dedicated module, the Eyer 2 can still perform basic anterior segment captures. How to Capture Basic Anterior Segment Photos:
1) Start a CAPTURE
2) Switch the capture mode from “RETINA” to “ANTERIOR” by clicking the dedicated button.
3) The capture screen will update, giving you access to essential anterior segment tools:
OD (Oculus Dexter): Select for imaging the right eye.
OS (Oculus Sinister): Select for imaging the left eye.
Macro Pictures: This setting adjusts the camera’s focus to a smaller distance, allowing you to take pictures closer to the patient’s eye.
Light Intensity: Use to alter the light intensity.
