Battery
For prolonged periods of inactivity, such as after business hours, it is advised to Power Off the device in order to prolong battery life.
To power off the device press and hold the Power Button.
Once on the next screen tap to select an option then tap again to confirm.
It is also recommended to keep the device in the charging dock with the screen turned off when in between patients, so that it is always charged when needed. This also prolongs battery life and also ensures that only registered users can access the data on the device. To turn it off, press the power button.
Remember to always use the original charger send along with the device or chargers and cables approved for use with Samsung Galaxy smartphones.
During examinations, it is also recommended to keep the device charging, with the screen turned off. To do this press the side button. This not only preserves battery and ensures the device is ready to use when needed but also enhances data security.
Cleaning the Lenses
If the lenses have only dust or easily removable particles, the microfibre cloth included with the equipment is sufficient for the cleaning;
Be careful not to damage the lens when removing dust from its surface;
Any artifacts displayed in the image that are not removed by cleaning might be on the interior lenses of the device and technical support should be contacted for analysis;
Clean the lenses only when necessary, frequent cleaning is not recommended unless there are visible artifacts affecting image quality.
