O trabalho ocorreu em junho de 2021, no Hospital de Base, e ganhou como melhor p\u00f4ster do Congresso de Oftalmologia da USP, no ano passado.<\/p>\n<p>Os pesquisadores utilizaram o smartdevice Phelcom Eyer para fazer o exame em 51 pacientes, sendo 30 homens e 21 mulheres, com idade entre 21 e 83 anos. Acoplado a um smartphone, o aparelho realiza exames de fundo do olho em alta qualidade e em poucos minutos. Por ser conectado \u00e0 uma plataforma on-line, o Eyer Cloud, permite o diagn\u00f3stico remoto e garante a seguran\u00e7a dos dados na nuvem.<\/p>\n<p>Ao todo, 41,2% sofriam com hipertens\u00e3o arterial sist\u00eamica e 23,5%, com diabetes mellitus. Al\u00e9m disso, 11,7% alegaram piora da acuidade visual, mas n\u00e3o foi detectado nenhum achado nestes pacientes. Dentre as principais modifica\u00e7\u00f5es na retina detectadas, est\u00e3o:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Hemorragias intrarretinianas &#8211; 19,6%;<\/li>\n<li>Exsudatos algodonosos &#8211; 1,9%;<\/li>\n<li>Dilata\u00e7\u00e3o venosa &#8211; 13,7%;<\/li>\n<li>Tortuosidade vascular &#8211; 25,4%;<\/li>\n<li>Cruzamento arteriovenoso patol\u00f3gico &#8211; 11,7%.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Todos os pacientes estavam em uso de dexametasona 6 mg\/dia, anticoagula\u00e7\u00e3o profil\u00e1tica e necessitaram de oxig\u00eanio.<\/p>\n<p>Dos 10 pacientes com hemorragias intrarretinianas, 80% tinham hipertens\u00e3o arterial e\/ou diabetes. O paciente com exsudatos algodonosos \u00e9 portador de diabetes. Apenas 14,2% dos com dilata\u00e7\u00e3o venosa apresentavam hipertens\u00e3o arterial e\/ou diabetes. O cruzamento arteriovenoso patol\u00f3gico tamb\u00e9m pode justificar esses achados.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAlguns pacientes, mesmo sem queixas, tinham altera\u00e7\u00f5es vasculares no fundo de olho. Como n\u00e3o temos registro pr\u00e9vio, n\u00e3o \u00e9 poss\u00edvel atribuir a causa dessas altera\u00e7\u00f5es \u00e0 doen\u00e7a, pois podem ter sido provocadas por outros problemas, como hipertens\u00e3o ou diabetes, por exemplo. No entanto, alguns pacientes sem comorbidades tamb\u00e9m tiveram essas altera\u00e7\u00f5es. Portanto, existe a possibilidade de terem sido causadas pelo covid-19\u201d, explica um dos autores do trabalho, o m\u00e9dico residente em oftalmologia Ant\u00f4nio Augusto de Andrade Cunha Filho.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/phelcom.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/20211203_114113.jpg\" data-lbwps-width=\"1134\" data-lbwps-height=\"2016\" data-lbwps-srcsmall=\"https:\/\/phelcom.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/20211203_114113-169x300.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-9693\" src=\"https:\/\/phelcom.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/20211203_114113-576x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"576\" height=\"1024\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<h3>Retinografia port\u00e1til e covid-19<\/h3>\n<p>Filho afirma que a retinografia port\u00e1til \u00e9 \u00fatil na avalia\u00e7\u00e3o de pacientes internados com covid-19. \u201cOs pacientes estavam isolados em quarto de enfermaria. Portanto, n\u00e3o poderiam sair para realizar o exame no retin\u00f3grafo de mesa.
