De fato, a recomenda\u00e7\u00e3o de isolamento social durante a pandemia do novo coronav\u00edrus (SARS-CoV-2) tornou o atendimento m\u00e9dico mais restrito. Isso porque a orienta\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e9 adiar consultas, procedimentos e\/ou cirurgias eletivas para garantir a sa\u00fade de pacientes e profissionais.<\/p>\n

Pensando em auxiliar a popula\u00e7\u00e3o neste momento, o Conselho Brasileiro de Oftalmologia (CBO) lan\u00e7ou o projeto \u201cBrasil que Enxerga\u201d. Com uma equipe de mais de 100 especialistas volunt\u00e1rios, a plataforma oferece teleorienta\u00e7\u00e3o em oftalmologia gratuitamente para todo o pa\u00eds.<\/p>\n

Teleorienta\u00e7\u00e3o em oftalmologia – Brasil que Enxerga<\/h2>\n

No final de abril, o Conselho Brasileiro de Oftalmologia (CBO) lan\u00e7ou a plataforma on-line \u201cBrasil que Enxerga\u201d<\/a>. O programa busca levar assist\u00eancia \u00e0 sa\u00fade ocular dos brasileiros por meio de teleorienta\u00e7\u00e3o em oftalmologia durante a pandemia da\u00a0Covid-19.<\/p>\n

Essa modalidade da telemedicina foi liberada recentemente<\/a> com a Lei n\u00ba 13.989<\/a>, de 15 de abril de 2020.<\/p>\n

O vice-presidente do CBO, Cristiano Caixeta, explica que a iniciativa \u00e9 uma pol\u00edtica de sa\u00fade que engloba a\u00e7\u00f5es de assist\u00eancia, educa\u00e7\u00e3o e acesso \u00e0 sa\u00fade ocular. Ou seja, essencial no atual cen\u00e1rio que vivemos.<\/p>\n

Vale ressaltar que o servi\u00e7o n\u00e3o \u00e9 teleconsulta. Por exemplo, n\u00e3o h\u00e1 prescri\u00e7\u00e3o de receitas ou solicita\u00e7\u00f5es de exames. Mas sim uma orienta\u00e7\u00e3o para aqueles que enfrentam problemas oculares atualmente.<\/p>\n

Dessa maneira, o paciente pode at\u00e9 ser encaminhado para uma consulta presencial, de acordo com o local em que reside.<\/p>\n

Para voc\u00ea entender melhor, o oftalmologista e coordenador do projeto Alexandre Chater Taleb explica que \u201ca teleorienta\u00e7\u00e3o consiste na intera\u00e7\u00e3o direta entre o m\u00e9dico e o paciente atrav\u00e9s de tecnologias de comunica\u00e7\u00e3o e informa\u00e7\u00e3o para que o m\u00e9dico possa orientar medidas gerais de sa\u00fade em rela\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e0s diversas condi\u00e7\u00f5es\u201d.<\/p>\n

Para utilizar o servi\u00e7o, os interessados devem agendar a teleorienta\u00e7\u00e3o por meio de um formul\u00e1rio simples dispon\u00edvel no site\u00a0www.brasilqueenxerga.cbo.com.br<\/strong><\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ap\u00f3s informar os dados,\u00a0voc\u00ea escolher\u00e1 o dia e hor\u00e1rio dispon\u00edvel no sistema. Depois disso, receber\u00e1 as orienta\u00e7\u00f5es para acesso a sala virtual para a conversa com o m\u00e9dico.<\/p>\n

Durante o bate-papo, o oftalmologista pode avaliar que voc\u00ea precisa ser atendido presencialmente. Dessa forma, ele te orientar\u00e1 a acessar uma lista de especialistas de urg\u00eancias e emerg\u00eancias da sua regi\u00e3o dispon\u00edvel no site do programa.<\/p>\n

Conclus\u00e3o<\/h2>\n

De acordo com o \u00faltimo levantamento realizado pelo CBO<\/a>, em 2019, apenas 29% dos munic\u00edpios brasileiros contam com oftalmologistas. Por outro lado, essas localidades abrigam 79% da popula\u00e7\u00e3o do pa\u00eds.<\/p>\n

Mesmo assim, estamos falando em mais de 44 milh\u00f5es de brasileiros sem especialista em suas cidades. A Regi\u00e3o Norte, por exemplo, tem a pior propor\u00e7\u00e3o oftalmologista\/habitantes preconizada pela Organiza\u00e7\u00e3o Mundial de Sa\u00fade (OMS) para pa\u00edses desenvolvidos, de 1\/17.000. Atualmente, a \u00e1rea possui uma rela\u00e7\u00e3o de 19.742 cidad\u00e3os para cada oftalmologista.<\/p>\n

Por isso, iniciativas como a do CBO s\u00e3o important\u00edssimas para levar o acesso \u00e0 sa\u00fade ocular em locais com pouca infraestrutura e falta de m\u00e9dicos, demais profissionais, exames, medicamentos, dentre outros.<\/p>\n
