De acordo com a Sociedade Brasileira de Diabetes, 16,8 milh\u00f5es de pessoas sofrem com a doen\u00e7a no pa\u00eds.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A engenheira civil Danierik Danelon \u00e9 uma delas. Aos 23 anos, desenvolveu retinopatia diab\u00e9tica que, posteriormente, evoluiu para glaucoma. \u201cNo olho esquerdo, \u00e9 como se eu estivesse olhando atrav\u00e9s de um box de banheiro emba\u00e7ado com vapor\u201d, disse Danierik no programa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A retinopatia diab\u00e9tica \u00e9 uma das complica\u00e7\u00f5es mais frequentes do diabetes e uma das principais causas de cegueira evit\u00e1vel em adultos. A doen\u00e7a \u00e9 silenciosa na fase inicial e, por isso, o diagn\u00f3stico precoce \u00e9 essencial.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Por outro lado, nem todo mundo consegue chegar a um oftalmologista a tempo. Segundo o Conselho Brasileiro de Oftalmologia (CBO), havia <a href=\"https:\/\/observatoriocbo.com.br\/\">1 oftalmologista para cada 10.875 habitantes no Brasil em 2021<\/a>. E a maioria desses profissionais atendem no eixo Sul-Sudeste.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00c9 neste cen\u00e1rio que entra a tecnologia. Foto: reprodu\u00e7\u00e3o Globo Rep\u00f3rter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sincronizada ao <a href=\"https:\/\/phelcom.com\/pt-br\/blog\/empresa\/seguranca-de-dados\/\">EyerCloud<\/a>, sistema em nuvem para gerenciamento de dados e exames dos pacientes, a ferramenta classifica de forma simples e visual as imagens e exames capturados em fun\u00e7\u00e3o da probabilidade de altera\u00e7\u00e3o utilizando marcadores coloridos nas imagens e exames:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Verde: imagem ou exame com baixa probabilidade de altera\u00e7\u00e3o (at\u00e9 30%);<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Amarelo: imagem ou exame com m\u00e9dia probabilidade de altera\u00e7\u00e3o (de 31 a 70%);<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Vermelho: imagem ou exame com alta probabilidade de altera\u00e7\u00e3o (71 a 100%).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cA gente consegue ver na imagem v\u00e1rios pontos de altera\u00e7\u00e3o e o algoritmo detecta, ele acaba real\u00e7ando essas \u00e1reas. \u00c9 importante a gente deixar claro que s\u00e3o ferramentas de triagem.
