Para conhecer mais sobre a iniciativa, visite a p\u00e1gina @retinapratica no Instagram.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Pr\u00eamio<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>O trabalho <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbo2023.com.br\/evento\/cbo2023\/trabalhosaprovados\/naintegra\/5180\">\u201cIntelig\u00eancia artificial para rastreio de retinopatia diab\u00e9tica com uma imagem de retina por olho\u201d<\/a>, do oftalmologista Fernando Korn Malerbi e equipe, foi premiado como o melhor trabalho do CBO 2023 na categoria Regi\u00e3o Sul. O m\u00e9dico utilizou o Eyer para realizar o projeto.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><a href=\"https:\/\/phelcom.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/img_blog_fernando_malerbi_cbo2023.jpeg\" data-lbwps-width=\"1280\" data-lbwps-height=\"1706\" data-lbwps-srcsmall=\"https:\/\/phelcom.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/img_blog_fernando_malerbi_cbo2023-225x300.jpeg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"768\" height=\"1024\" src=\"https:\/\/phelcom.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/img_blog_fernando_malerbi_cbo2023-768x1024.jpeg\" alt=\"Img Blog Fernando Malerbi Cbo2023\" class=\"wp-image-25602\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">O oftalmologista Fernando Korn Malerbi recebeu o pr\u00eamio de melhor trabalho do CBO 2023 na categoria Regi\u00e3o Sul.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cA retinopatia diab\u00e9tica \u00e9 uma das principais causas de cegueira.&nbsp;Nosso objetivo foi avaliar o desempenho de um sistema de intelig\u00eancia artificial incorporado em uma c\u00e2mera retinal port\u00e1til baseada em smartphone &#8211; o Eyer &#8211; para triagem de RD com base na avalia\u00e7\u00e3o de apenas uma imagem retinal por olho\u201d, explica.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Para isso, operadores treinados coletaram imagens de pacientes com diabetes durante uma iniciativa de triagem em massa de RD em Blumenau (SC).&nbsp;A an\u00e1lise autom\u00e1tica da foto foi realizada pelo EyerMaps.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mais da metade dos pacientes realizaram o primeiro exame de retina durante o evento. A maioria (82,5%) contando exclusivamente com o sistema p\u00fablico de sa\u00fade.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ao todo, 86,9% foram diagnosticados com RD leve ausente ou n\u00e3o proliferativa. J\u00e1 13,1%, com RD mais que leve. As taxas percentuais de IA de sensibilidade, especificidade, valor preditivo positivo e valores preditivos negativos para mtmDR foram (IC 95%) 93,6 (87,8-97,2), 71,7 (67,8-75,4), 42,7 (39,3-46,2) e 98,0 (96,2- 98,9), respectivamente.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cFoi obtida alta sensibilidade para triagem de RD com o Eyer e EyerMaps com apenas uma imagem por olho, um protocolo mais simples em compara\u00e7\u00e3o ao protocolo tradicional de duas imagens por olho.&nbsp;A simplifica\u00e7\u00e3o do processo de rastreio de RD pode contribuir para aumentar as taxas de ades\u00e3o e a cobertura global dos programas\u201d, avalia Malerbi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">CBO 2023<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>O 67\u00ba Congresso Brasileiro de Oftalmologia (CBO) reuniu aproximadamente quatro mil m\u00e9dicos e pesquisadores do Brasil, Estados Unidos, Fran\u00e7a, Argentina, Col\u00f4mbia, Canad\u00e1, Bulg\u00e1ria e Portugal.
