{"id":18008,"date":"2022-11-04T17:30:12","date_gmt":"2022-11-04T20:30:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/phelcom.com\/?p=18008"},"modified":"2023-06-02T14:36:22","modified_gmt":"2023-06-02T17:36:22","slug":"recuperacao-da-visao-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/phelcom.com\/pt-br\/blog\/inovacao\/recuperacao-da-visao-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Pesquisa desenvolve t\u00e9cnica de regenera\u00e7\u00e3o de c\u00e9lulas fotorreceptoras para restaurar vis\u00e3o"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>As terapias regenerativas para substitui\u00e7\u00e3o dos fotorreceptores s\u00e3o uma abordagem promissora para o tratamento da cegueira incur\u00e1vel.\u00a0Entretanto, ainda enfrentam obst\u00e1culos significativos, incluindo a necessidade de melhorar a via de inje\u00e7\u00e3o subretiniana e a taxa de sobreviv\u00eancia a longo prazo das c\u00e9lulas transplantadas, al\u00e9m de promover a integra\u00e7\u00e3o suficiente na retina do hospedeiro.<\/p>\n<p>Mas, um <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cell.com\/stem-cell-reports\/fulltext\/S2213-6711(22)00325-3?_returnURL=https%3A%2F%2Flinkinghub.elsevier.com%2Fretrieve%2Fpii%2FS2213671122003253%3Fshowall%3Dtrue#relatedArticles\">novo estudo<\/a> realizado em c\u00e3es desenvolveu uma t\u00e9cnica em que as c\u00e9lulas sobreviveram nas retinas por meses e formaram conex\u00f5es com as c\u00e9lulas existentes.<\/p>\n<p>A pesquisa foi feita na Universidade da Pensilv\u00e2nia, em parceria com a Universidade de Wisconsin-Madison e com o National Institutes of Health&#8217;s National Eye Institute\u00a0(NEI), dos Estados Unidos. Os resultados foram publicados no peri\u00f3dico\u00a0Stem Cell Reports.<\/p>\n<p>Em seguida, saiba mais sobre o trabalho, os resultados e como os achados podem contribuir com o futuro da terapia celular na recupera\u00e7\u00e3o da vis\u00e3o.<\/p>\n<h2>A pesquisa<\/h2>\n<p>Como base da terapia celular, os cientistas utilizaram precursores derivados de c\u00e9lulas-tronco de fotorreceptores humanos desenvolvidos em laborat\u00f3rio, as chamadas \u201cIPS CELLS\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Depois, criaram uma nova abordagem cir\u00fargica para injetar as c\u00e9lulas, que receberam marcadores fluorescentes, nas retinas de sete c\u00e3es com vis\u00e3o normal e tr\u00eas com uma forma de degenera\u00e7\u00e3o retiniana heredit\u00e1ria.<\/p>\n<p>A escolha dos cachorros para o estudo \u00e9 devido ao tamanho dos olhos parecido com humanos e por sofrerem naturalmente com a degenera\u00e7\u00e3o da retina.
