{"id":10047,"date":"2022-03-10T14:14:59","date_gmt":"2022-03-10T17:14:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/phelcom.com\/?p=10047"},"modified":"2023-06-02T14:09:12","modified_gmt":"2023-06-02T17:09:12","slug":"projeto-iluminar","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/phelcom.com\/pt-br\/blog\/social\/projeto-iluminar\/","title":{"rendered":"Com Eyer, projeto Iluminar rastreia retinopatia diab\u00e9tica em mais de 700 pessoas no sert\u00e3o sergipano"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>Em parceria com a ONG Retina Global, m\u00e9dicos planejam realizar exames de retinografia digital e mapeamento da retina em mais de 15 mil pacientes diab\u00e9ticos no interior de Sergipe. <\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>No ano passado, a ONG Retina Global interessou-se pelo desenvolvimento de um projeto social para o diagn\u00f3stico e tratamento de retinopatia diab\u00e9tica no Brasil. A institui\u00e7\u00e3o norte-americana atua na cria\u00e7\u00e3o de solu\u00e7\u00f5es sustent\u00e1veis para o controle de doen\u00e7as da retina em \u00e1reas carentes do mundo todo.<\/p>\n<p>Assim, em parceria com os oftalmologistas Fernando Malerbi e Gustavo Melo, surgiu o projeto Iluminar para rastreamento e tratamento de retinopatia diab\u00e9tica em 13 mun\u00edcipios do sert\u00e3o de Sergipe. A regi\u00e3o foi escolhida pelo grupo pelo hist\u00f3rico de pobreza relacionada \u00e0 seca e pela falta de assist\u00eancia oftalmol\u00f3gica na sa\u00fade p\u00fablica.<\/p>\n<p>At\u00e9 o momento, mais de 700 pessoas passaram por exames de retina nas cidades de Itabi, Graccho Cardoso e Canind\u00e9 de S\u00e3o Francisco. \u201cAproximadamente 150 pacientes foram submetidos a um novo exame de mapeamento da retina com a equipe de retin\u00f3logos no local. Desses, 50 foram encaminhados para tratamento com fotocoagula\u00e7\u00e3o a laser\u201d, ressalta um dos l\u00edderes do projeto, o oftalmologista Gustavo Melo.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/phelcom.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/WhatsApp-Image-2022-03-09-at-15.49.08-3.jpeg\" data-lbwps-width=\"1024\" data-lbwps-height=\"768\" data-lbwps-srcsmall=\"https:\/\/phelcom.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/WhatsApp-Image-2022-03-09-at-15.49.08-3-300x225.jpeg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-10048\" src=\"https:\/\/phelcom.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/WhatsApp-Image-2022-03-09-at-15.49.08-3.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" srcset=\"https:\/\/phelcom.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/WhatsApp-Image-2022-03-09-at-15.49.08-3.jpeg 1024w, https:\/\/phelcom.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/WhatsApp-Image-2022-03-09-at-15.49.08-3-480x360.jpeg 480w\" sizes=\"(min-width: 0px) and (max-width: 480px) 480px, (min-width: 481px) 1024px, 100vw\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Os mutir\u00f5es contam com dois t\u00e9cnicos de sa\u00fade, cerca de dez funcion\u00e1rios das Unidades B\u00e1sicas de Sa\u00fade (UBS) de cada munic\u00edpio e quatro oftalmologistas volunt\u00e1rios, sendo que parte emite os laudos de forma remota.<\/p>\n<p>As imagens da retina s\u00e3o feitas com o smartdevice Phelcom Eyer. Acoplado a um smartphone, o aparelho realiza exames com alta qualidade, em poucos minutos e sem a necessidade de dilata\u00e7\u00e3o da pupila. Por ser integrado \u00e0 nuvem, disponibiliza automaticamente os dados na plataforma on-line EyerCloud. Dessa forma, o laudo pode ser emitido por um m\u00e9dico localizado em qualquer lugar do mundo.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cO Eyer permite otimizar o tempo e os custos ao rastrear a popula\u00e7\u00e3o diab\u00e9tica do interior sem que os pacientes precisem se deslocar \u00e0s cidades que possuem equipamentos e especialistas. Outra vantagem \u00e9 a n\u00e3o midr\u00edase, j\u00e1 que 90% dos casos n\u00e3o precisam de dilata\u00e7\u00e3o da pupila\u201d, explica Melo.<\/p>\n<p>Para os mutir\u00f5es do projeto Iluminar, o smartdevice tamb\u00e9m oferece uma intelig\u00eancia artificial que identifica retinopatia diab\u00e9tica e outras doen\u00e7as oculares com mais de 95% de sensibilidade em apenas tr\u00eas segundos. Em seguida, o exame \u00e9 enviado para confer\u00eancia e laudo do oftalmologista. O objetivo \u00e9 atender 15 mil pacientes diab\u00e9ticos, em 13 cidades sergipanas, no per\u00edodo de dois anos.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cO grande diferencial do Iluminar \u00e9 a otimiza\u00e7\u00e3o do tempo, essencial para o diagn\u00f3stico precoce e, assim, diminuir consideravelmente as chances de cegueira por diabetes.
