De acordo com a Organiza\u00e7\u00e3o Mundial de Sa\u00fade (OMS), a doen\u00e7a atinge 80 milh\u00f5es de pessoas. S\u00f3 no Brasil, s\u00e3o 1,2 milh\u00e3o de casos, segundo o Conselho Brasileiro de Oftalmologia (CBO).<\/p>\n<p>Conforme estimativas da OMS, o problema afetar\u00e1 111,5 milh\u00f5es em 2040. Especialistas atribuem esse aumento a dois fatores: o envelhecimento da popula\u00e7\u00e3o e o crescimento nos diagn\u00f3sticos.<\/p>\n<p>Um outro dado alarmante \u00e9 que, na maioria dos casos, a disfun\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e9 assintom\u00e1tica na fase inicial. Por exemplo, um levantamento do CBO apontou que\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.cbo.net.br\/novo\/publicacoes\/revista_vejabem_13.pdf\">80% dos portadores n\u00e3o apresentam sintomas<\/a>. Por isso, \u00e9 t\u00e3o dif\u00edcil a detec\u00e7\u00e3o precoce.<\/p>\n<p>Recentemente, uma startup israelense desenvolveu um dispositivo que faz o diagn\u00f3stico e monitoramento remoto do glaucoma por meio da medi\u00e7\u00e3o da press\u00e3o intraocular. Em seguida, conhe\u00e7a mais a tecnologia e como ela deve ajudar no controle da doen\u00e7a.<\/p>\n<h2>IOPerfect\u2122 &#8211; monitoramento remoto do glaucoma<\/h2>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/phelcom.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/ioperfect.jpg\" data-lbwps-width=\"300\" data-lbwps-height=\"225\" data-lbwps-srcsmall=\"https:\/\/phelcom.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/ioperfect.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-10024\" src=\"https:\/\/phelcom.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/ioperfect.jpg\" alt=\"monitoramento remoto do glaucoma\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Semelhante aos \u00f3culos de realidade virtual, a tecnologia <a href=\"https:\/\/op-sci.com\/\">IOPerfect\u2122<\/a> aplica press\u00e3o controlada a base de ar nos olhos, ao mesmo tempo que c\u00e2meras registram o comportamento das veias e art\u00e9rias do oculares.<\/p>\n<p>Em seguida, as imagens s\u00e3o examinadas pela intelig\u00eancia artificial (IA) e os resultados s\u00e3o disponibilizados para telediagn\u00f3stico do m\u00e9dico. Todo esse processo ocorre em 90 segundos, de acordo com informa\u00e7\u00f5es disponibilizadas no site da empresa.<\/p>\n<p>O exame pode ser feito pelo pr\u00f3prio paciente, j\u00e1 que n\u00e3o \u00e9 necess\u00e1ria a dilata\u00e7\u00e3o da pupila e nem calibra\u00e7\u00e3o constante do aparelho. \u00c9 o primeiro dispositivo de medi\u00e7\u00e3o de press\u00e3o intraocular sem contato baseado em IA do mundo.<\/p>\n<p>Dessa forma, o monitoramento remoto do glaucoma poder\u00e1 auxiliar no diagn\u00f3stico precoce e controle da doen\u00e7a, com a triagem e encaminhamento ao tratamento mais rapidamente.
